January President’s Message

President, CSI Houston Chapter

Dear fellow CSI Houston Chapter Members,

Happy New Year!

I hope you enjoyed relaxing and peaceful holidays with family and friends. The CSI Houston Holiday Party and procrastinator’s CEU sessions were a success!

As we embark on the second half of the chapter year I would like to look back at the first half of the chapter year and recognize the work that has been done to grow our chapter and increasing our exposure in the A/E and construction community. Thanks to our ambassadors for spreading the word, the additional tours and membership outreach we can begin to see the fruits of our labor as we’ve begun to see a positive trend in our membership numbers!

As a not for profit organization we rely on volunteerism to sustain and continue our success and the service we provide to our members and the industry. As such I encourage you to consider volunteering. Be it as an ambassador or on a committee, your active involvement is what propels the organization.

On a more somber note, the CSI Houston Chapter is mourning the loss of long time and distinguished member Harold Woolard, FCSI who passed away on December 16, 2016. He will be missed by his friends at CSI!

Please join us January 23 for the most anticipated CSI Houston event of the year: Pat Kiley’s Economic Outlook for the Houston Construction Sector for 2017
