With almost 200 members, the Houston Chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute is the largest chapter in the South Central Region. Members of CSI Houston include architects, engineers, interior designers, builders, material manufacturers, dealers, construction product representatives, and others involved in the design and construction industry.
The Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) is an individual membership association that provides technical information and products, continuing education, professional conferences, and product shows to enhance communication among all disciplines of the nonresidential building design and construction industry and meet the industry’s need for a common system of organizing and presenting construction information.
Mission Statement
The Construction Specification Institute advances the process of creating and sustaining the built environment for the benefit of the construction community by using the diversity of its members to exchange knowledge. The strength of CSI is measured by the vitality and accomplishments of its chapters. The activities of the chapters have always made and will to make the Institute a leader in the construction industry.
Houston Chapter Bylaws
